There are simple methods to preventing water damages in your home. These steps should be done frequently to keep your home maintained. The tips are listed below:

1. Exterior walls tend to damage from objects sitting against them

   - Make sure the walls are properly sealed and painted

2. Sprinklers can cause structural issues if positioned improperly

    - Position the sprinklers so it is not spraying directly onto the house

3. Trim your tree branches

    - Have your tree branches at least seven feet away from the house to prevent damages to your home

4. Include a system specifically for a water supply

    - The system will detect a leak and shut off

5. Check for leaks in your kitchens or bathrooms

    - Leaks in areas such as kitchens or bathrooms need to be checked frequently to avoid water damage
