11/14/2016 (Permalink)

Dressers and other furniture can easily damage from water or liquid products. There are simple steps you can follow to prevent your Hubbard home furniture from water damage.

Materials Needed:

-Damp Rag

-Stirring Stick

-Bristle Brush

-Sand paper

-Naptha

Instructions

  1. Use a damp rag to wipe down the dusty surface
  2. Take the polyurethane with a stick without shaking the can
  3. Dip one inch of the brush into the polyurethane and begin running the brush in one direction along the dresser or any other wooden furniture
  4. Another way to apply the polyurethane is with a rag to eliminate air bubbles, but you will need to thin the product by adding the same amount of naptha
  5. To smooth out any bumps, rub the wet sand paper in a circular motion onto the wood

This process should eliminate potential water spillage from affecting your wooden furniture.
